 Every type of Music carries with it some things that are unique to its Styles. Both Gene and Bernice Mitchell have accumulated over 90 years combined of Christian Music Experience. Over the years we have perfected a program unique to us called "Performance Plus". Our goal to is to help budding young (and old) Christian artists become comfortable as a Soloist in the Christian Music Field.  Our #1 priority is helping the Christian Artist learn to feel at ease with their solo performance before a crowd of Peers and adults. Our underlying requirement for obtaining this confidence is to become adept at using the LANGUAGE OF MUSIC. As music has a language all its own, we hope to insure it becomes the "second language" of all our Students.  With an understanding of the Language of music in hand, /students are able to pick and choose their career paths. Whether it be an instrumentalist, a vocalist, or even a teacher, we want our Students to become proficient and at ease with their choice of artistic expression.

                 Nu-Trax Academy of Christian Music is designed from the ground up to enhance the Artistic Skills of Christians in all churches. Although we may, from time to time, engage in harmless love songs for our Valentine show and Secular Christmas Music, We do not teach from a platform of Secular music.  Our Desire is to enrich the Local Churchs Praise and Worship Program by helping to Polish the artist they have in their midst.

                 We try to keep a balance between each Churches expectations for their parishioners as well as what Nu-Trax expects of their Students. When there is a conflict we encourage the student to lean toward their churches teaching when performing at church and toward Nu-Trax Expectations when performing for a Nu-Trax function. Beyond that, it is a simple matter of choosing another Studio.
